Entry Rules


  1. Each venue may only enter one category
  2. The Buckinghamshire Food & Drink Awards are open to food producers, retailers, catering and eating or drinking establishments, restaurants and hotels operating in the Buckinghamshire area.
  3. All information will be treated as confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of the Buckinghamshire Food & Drink Awards.
  4. The closing date for nominations will be announced in 2017– no nomination will be accepted after this date unless an extension has been officially announced.
  5. On all matters relating to the Buckinghamshire Food & Drink Awards, the verdict of the votes cast is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. By entering the awards you agree to partake in publicity of the awards including the use of any images taken.
  7. Please note to ensure all entrants for Restaurant of the Year have an equal chance restaurants may be divided according to size.
  8. Nominees who do not have a rating of 3 or more in the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (if relevant) will not be eligible and votes for venue will not count.
  9. Only one vote per person is valid in each category.
  10. The closing date for voting will be announced in 2017 – no votes will be accepted after this date, unless an extension has been officially announced.
  11. Any irregular voting will be treated with the utmost seriousness and will be acted upon.
  12. Any establishment with 3 or more venues will qualify as a chain and be eligible as entrants in the Restaurant of the Year – Chain/Franchise category.
  13. Should you make it through to the finals, you will be required to attend the awards ceremony.
